No, unless the suit material is attacked and degraded by the chemical, it maintains its protective capabilities i.e. the resistance and permeation time are not reduced.
The key is to do a pressure test and to examine the material after use, to look for changes that would indicate the material is affected/degraded.
Such changes are any changes in its physical properties and appearance such as:
- Softness, stickiness, swelling, sponginess
- Hardness, stiffness, loss of flexibility, cracking
