The VIKING™ WRS-D is a water rescue and diving suit manufactured from a lightweight, yet strong material. Provides protection to users such as fire & rescue teams, law enforcement teams & military users, where the ability to easily convert quickly from a purely surface operation suit to a diving suit is a requirement.

suit material

255 g/m2 Nylon outer / Butyl rubber / Nylon inner.
Light and flexible material with excellent puncture and abrasion resistance. Smooth close knit exterior surface.


External: Folded and stitched to lie flat.
InternalChemically treated with an uncured rubber tape applied by heat and pressure.

Finally the suit is placed inside a vulcaniser, whereby the rubber tape is cured by heat and pressure into the material itself. This is a unique process known as “Vulca Seam Technology”.


The VIKING™ WRS-D material is inherently abrasion and puncture resistant. Additional reinforcements are fitted to knees and elbows as standard.

OptionsPadded knees and elbows for swift water operations. A buttock reinforcement panel is also available.


High visibility reflectors are fitted as standard to the zip flap, wrists, upper arms and back of legs.

Standard configuration, mounted on rubber backing discs:

  • Push protected inlet valve, positioned on the chest
  • Hose: 80 cm long, CEJN fitting
  • Low Profile adjustable exhaust valve, on the upper left arm

Options: Valve blanking plugs may be fitted when the suit is being used purely as a surface rescue suit.


Standard: Surveyor latex neck seal

Options: Bellows latex neck seal; VIKING™ Quick Neck collar system, which allows for rapid changing of broken seals.
A silicone seal is available for those with a latex allergy.

hood options

May be fitted with a wide range of hood options including: Surveyor latex hood + thermal inner hood; 
Nautic neoprene hood; Smoothskin neoprene hood.

If using the VIKING™ Quick Neck system, a combined latex hood/neck seal is available.


Standard: Latex conical cuffs

Options: Rubber ring system for rapid changing of cuff seals and the fitting of latex gloves.
Silicone wrist seals are available for use with the rubber ring system, for those with a latex allergy.


Standard: Rubber coated 5 mm neoprene boots. The boots feature a non-slip outsole and a heel fin retainer.

Options: Nitrile safety boots; PVC wellies; Latex socks; VSN material socks (for use with overboots).


Each suit comes supplied as standard with suspenders, carry bag, user manual, repair kit and zip care materials.
