Machine washing is possible, but if used, it is the responsibility of the suit owner. Machine washing may damage for example the metal parts of the zipper or a stiff visor, especially if washing a suit with visor and attached boots. Tumble-drying is not allowed.
We recommend the suits to be hand-washed at maximum +40°C using a detergent and a soft rag or a smooth brush. Let the suit air dry or use a fan. Alternatively, use specially designed washing equipment such as Top Trock®, used by many fire brigades, which is a good and gentle way of cleaning and drying the suit.
NOTE: It is important to take away all moist in the suits to avoid bacteria and fungus growth.
See the AlphaTec® suit manual/Instructions for Use for further information about suit maintenance.
